The Peaks Apartments
Peak Apartments is a 16 Level building constructed around 1994. The block includes 57 apartments, an office in the lobby, and three carpark levels. Elite Passive Fire were contracted by ANOROC to install passive fire protection to service penetrations in the carparks, electrical, communication and plumbing risers on each level and lift room.
Elite Passive Fire was responsible for all the passive fire protection installation specified by the Fire Engineer and for providing up to date progress reports on work completed at different stages. Other responsibilities included reporting any other items that may have been missed by the Fire Engineer and providing detailed v-drawings and solutions for each case. Elite were also responsible for the QA documentation including mark up of plans, labelling and a schedule of works register.
The Kestev Apartments
Constructed in 2010, the Kestev Apartments is a five level residential building containing 28 apartments. Elite Passive Fire were engaged by RCS Construction to install passive fire protection to the entire site after the re-clad of the building identified that the passive fire protection was not up to standard.
Work commenced in June 2021 and the work progressed until completion at the end of September 2022. We have installed a range of passive fire protection including but not limited to bulkhead construction, batt installation to exposed purlins and voids, fire collars installed to plumbing pipes, putty cord installed to cables, bulkhead to exposed I-beams.
The Emily Place Apartments
The Emily Place Apartments are an 8-storey apartment block build in the 1920’s in Auckland CBD. Elite Passive Fire were invited by RCS Construction to carry out passive fire protection installation to the lobby area, lobby bathrooms and corridors on each level. Work commenced in July 2021 and progressed as stages of the building were made available and was completed in July 2022. Elite Passive Fire were responsible for the installation of passive fire protection systems as well as QA documentation to each penetration that was installed. This included labelling, marked up site plans and producer statement sign off at the completion of the project.
