1 What is Passive Fire Protection? 
  • A commonly asked question, particularly from body corporates and private property owners is, What is Passive Fire Protection?

  • Passive fire protection breaks the building into ‘compartments’ and prevents the spread of fire through fire rated walls and floors and Passive Fire Protection systems. It reduces the risk of damage to property and people in the event of fire, by delaying and restricting the spread of smoke and fire to different parts of the building.
